Are they 1st-ed deck, or 2nd-ed decks? Neither. Fire and Ice is the original CCG version of the game. They are more compatible with the First Edition, 'though. Mostly because 1Ed is the direct port of the CCG into LCG and everything was pretty much the same. The only differences are in the visuals.
The following cards are restricted for LCG tournament joust play. A player may select 1 card from the restricted list for any given deck, and cannot then play with any other restricted cards in the same deck. A player may run as many copies of his chosen restricted card in a deck as the regular game rules (or card text) allow. Sorrowful ManThe 2nd edition Quintain removed some of that upkeep so I would imagine it would run smoother. A few months ago I found 2x copies plus a few expansions for 2nd edition for about $40 and bought them for the sole purpose of playing Quintain 2ed but haven’t played it yet.
