The demand for him in MK11 was almost on par with the Mileena stans. He did kinda get done dirty in the previous three games (DLC in MK9 despite the roster being comprised of nearly everyone else from 1-3, character you can fight in MKX but not play as, very last-minute DLC in MK11), which probably does add to his appeal.
Reptile and ermac mk1 design. With scorpion, sub, and smoke all having traditional designs and being in the lin kuei, but rain having a more modern design, wouldn’t that lead us to believe ermac and reptile will have more modern designs as well, so lizard reptile and something along the lines of the nrs style ermac.
