The staff all seemed to be multi-lingual, very impressive! Overall we had a great time and the site was really close to Lazise - which is absolutely gorgeous. It makes a brilliant base for all that Lake Garda has to offer - which is a lot. Definitely a visit to Mount Baldo is a must, views are astonishing. …
Lake Garda is east of Lake Como, so it’s easier to get to from Venice and Verona. It’s just a 1.5-hour train ride (or 2-hour drive) from Venice, although Lake Garda is really close from Verona: just a half an hour in the car, or 15 minutes on the train. (The train station you want at Lake Garda is Peschiera del Garda). Doesn’t matter if its for a long weekend, at Easter or in summer. Everybody wants to spend their holiday at Lake Garda. But Italy’s biggest lake does indeed have a lot to offer. A mild climate, warm water, nice beaches, delicious food and countless outdoor activities make it a unique destination and attract lots of German visitors. Answer 1 of 9: Hi, we are off to Bella Italia hotel in Peschiera on Thursday for 7 nights and so far the weather is looking wet- thunder showers. Any advice on what to do with 2 little boys age 4 and 1?!Solve that problem by catching a ferry across the lake: it stops at pretty much every major town and costs €9.80 for a one way ticket (find more information here).
