Playing half life one now and yeah it’s just a good fps, but I still think half life 2 has its merits. This guys complaints could cover almost every sequel of a game that was made years later. Valid opinion but not really understanding the context of a sequel at that time. Definitely DO NOT get Half-Life: Source, it is a buggy downgrade to the original game. Half-Life 2 is a masterpiece and is a game I think everyone should play. While the graphics are a bit dated, considering the game was made in 2004, it was way ahead of its time. The various PC versions can be had for peanuts and run on Half-Life 2 Episode 1 and episode 2 are the sequels to HL2, so play those after HL2 Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is just the demo for Half-Life 2.
