After paying $2,699 USD for my 5D II, I see little to be gained by using a third-party battery and saving a few dollars. Likewise, after paying more than $5,000 for my large-format printer, I would never, ever use non-OEM ink. YMMV, and I fully support your decision to choose what works best for you.
