I want something I can use for a while, then change, but without having to displace my fish.
This time I will be making a 3D aqua So while finishing up some other projects in my garage. I need to slow down and do another Day One aquascaping project. This time I will be making a 3D aqua
Dec 4, 2017 - 3D Aquarium Background: This instructable will show you how to make a cool 3D background that goes inside your aquarium and looks like real rock but only weighs less then a couple of pounds.
Our aquarium backgrounds are 100% handmade, being unique and hand-painted by talented craftsmen. You can completely change the aquascape of your tank and hide all the aquarium equipment behind the background. Empty space behind the 3d background allows you to camouflage the filter pipes, the heater, air tubes and any other equipment.
You will first need to cut a sheet of 1-inch foam to the dimensions of the back wall of your tank. Next, construct different layers in a shelf-like arrangement on top of the sheet using foam pieces and shapes of varying size and thickness. Be creative with your arrangement, making sure to position thinner pieces near the top and thicker pieces
