I've tried clicking new game > multiplayer > direct connect and selecting comm 1 on like 38,000 baud have no idea what to do after that or if that is even in the ballpark of what I need to be doing. Anyone know what to do here?

Sorry for the lack of updates and that this Heroes of Might & Magic 2 Civilization 2 mod is taking so long guys. I spent quite a bit of time over the last 2 years working on my other Command & Conquer and Red Alert 2 scenarios for Sid Meier's Civilization 2 resulting in things looking pretty good with them now.

Copy the HEROES2 folder from the CD to the game directory (it should contain a folder called ANIM with some .SMK files in it). Execute RegEdit and edit the hkey_local_machine\software ew world computing\heroes of might and magic 2\1.0 key and change the CDDrive entry to the game directory drive. Play The Game without the CD!
2) Obtain a bin/cue image of the HOMM 2 data/audio CD (you can rip this from the original cd). This way you can pass the cd check and also have the audio tracks. 3) Get the "Heroes of Might and Magic II 2 CD MUSIC + PATCH". Just google it.
